In a society built on the endless quest for more, the crisis we face is not only ecological overshoot, but a deeper crisis in human behavior. A culture that prioritizes consumption and material growth over well-being and sustainability.

I believe that addressing these behavioral patterns is one of the most critical leverage points for sustainability. Inspired by Donella Meadows' insight that the most effective leverage point for systemic change is to transcend the paradigms that define how we think about our economy, our societies, and ourselves, I aspire to foster inner transformation—shifting values, worldviews, and mindsets—as a foundation for systemic change.

While sustainability efforts have long focused on techno-scientific (outward) solutions, I believe this transition must be complemented by psychological, cultural, artistic, and spiritual dimensions of human life (inward focus) and its future possibilities. As Einstein recognized, problems cannot be solved by the same level of consciousness that created them.

At the heart of this inner transformation lies the practice of mindfulness, through which I aspire to cultivate the mindsets and inner capacities necessary for planetary and human flourishing. Central to my work is the rethinking of growth and happiness. I am convinced that as long as society remains driven by the mindset of "simply never getting enough," material wealth will not translate into real well-being. When ego-driven striving for consumption and achievement leads the way, the outcome is not freedom and happiness but a culture of perpetual dissatisfaction.

Thus, my path is one of seeking a life rooted in service, love, moral ambition, and being with a community of like-minded changemakers. Through mindfulness, systems thinking, behavioral science, and inner development, I aim to contribute to a world where sufficiency, connection, purpose, and true flourishing replace the endless chase for more.

I work at the intersection of inner and outer change and believe that by transforming ourselves, we unlock the deeper systemic shifts needed for a sustainable and meaningful future.
